He has been married 46 years to his wife, Joree, who is a native of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Homer and Joree have 2 sons a granddaughter and grandson.

Prior to joining his Father, Homer Dudley, with Agee & Johnson Realty in Lebanon, Tennessee, Kent worked for 22 years as a (CFP) Certified Financial Planner and held the designation as Vice President of Investments with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, & Smith, Inc and Prudential Securities, Inc. in St Petersburg, Florida.
